I created this image last Sunday night. Growing up, I always heard stories that
if you cut a tornado with a machete or shoot a bullet into it, it will disappear. Obviously, I don’t believe that. Well, I don’t believe that
now, but as a child I was certain that if I ever came across a tornado or rabo de nube in Spanish, I had
to run and find a machete. But, what this image will forever remind me of is
what happened the next morning only 9 hours away from my home; hundreds of
people were killed in Joplin, Missouri when a tornado went through their town.
